Tesla doors sound like a dream now!

I can’t believe how solid the doors sound after applying this kit on my 2021 Model Y. Took just 15 minutes and zero tools. Every time I close the door I get a nice deep thunk and my wife actually noticed the improvement too.

Improves the door sound, minor fit issue

Love the new door feel on my 2021 Model Y. The only gripe is the strips didn't align perfectly on two of my doors, but still noticeable improvement.

Superb upgrade for Model 3

Great Kit Easy to install

I bought this kit for my 2026 Tesla Model Y Premium AWD Juniper. The kit arrived well-packed, and each part was labeled correctly. I scanned the QR code provided, and that made the install easier. The video was for a pre-Juniper Tesla Model Y, but it was about the same. It seems to cut down the noise on the Highway more so on the city roads. I also bought this to cut down on the dirt and dust in my door jams. I like it when I close the doors, they seem more solid-sounding. The rear hatch took a few tries to close to get settled. Telahubs has great customer service as well.

I just installed mine. Super easy after watching the video. My car is the new model 3 Performance which is already very quiet compared to the previous model 3 but I still noticed an improvement with less road noise. I'm sure it will allow less dirt inside the door sills too.

This is the second chance I've had for noise reduction kits for my Model Y. The first one I bought on Amazon was actually a cheap AliExpress kit that fell off in a week. These guys are making a quality product! Take a look at how sticky these seals are. 3M tape makes all the difference. The seals' tape is thicker, and I can literally close the door by pulling them. Providing a good seal!!!

I ordered this proguard over a year ago and it has been sitting in my garage waiting to be installed but I was just too lazy to do it until recently. Now I am kicking myself for not installing it sooner. It reduced the wind noise in my M3 significantly. It finally sounds more like a luxury car when I am driving on the fwy. I don’t have to turn up the volume on my music all the time when I start to drive faster. Thanks!

Great packaging and product overall. I have noticed road noise for about a month after buying my Tesla Model 3 and hopefully found your ProGuard solution. less than hour and you are ready to go. But make sure the surface is crear and dry! I have installed a lot of sealing on previous work and this is crucial to have them long-lasting. Going to order more for my buddy he has Model X))

So, reading review after review after review. And when I was really on the fence about buying these rubber seal kits, I thought, what the heck. So I purchased the kits proguard Daylight was ending (and it was getting cold) so I was only able to put on the driver's door seal. I had to go to the store and completely forgot about the installed seal. I was wondering why I get this noise (eg when driving with 1 rear window down. Also called: Helmholtz resonance). Then I remembered the seal and began to pay attention. Wow, what a difference. With this seal alone, it improved the wind noise significantly! I can clearly hear the difference in wind noise from the passenger side. Just thought I'd share with everyone. Glad I ran out of time to hear a side by side comparison and see for myself that there is a difference. Hoping to get the rest of these seals installed today so I can really enjoy the silence!

I installed my Proguard yesterday This works great. I measured a 3 - 6 db decrease in road noise. Humans notice a 3 db change and I can tell you my model Y is noticeably quieter. I read a bunch of reviews on a number of products and felt this was the most reliable one. So far I am quite pleased. I want to note that the sound of my door closing has become pleasant.

I bought protection last week

Impressed by these rapids! It was easy to install, it took a few minutes without any tools or glue. They fit snugly against the door seal, and while the process takes a bit of finesse, it's nothing too complicated. Once installed, they look seamlessly integrated into the car, almost like original equipment. In addition, they provide excellent coverage, protecting the interior from the wear and tear of everyday use. Great for long trips

I always listen to Spotify via Bluetooth connection while driving on highway speed (+70 mph). In order to listen clearly with every detail of melody, I have to increase the volume to 3/4 of the sound level. After installation of the weather strips, amazingly, I only need to turn up the volume to 1/2 or less on the sound level to reach same level of clarity. Yes, it does reduce to noise level in the cabin on the highway speed. This is by far the most efficient and cheapest method to reduce the noise level and I highly recommend to install this.

I included some pictures which will hopefully make visualization of the correct seal placement a bit easier. Overall the installation process isn’t hard, but there are a couple of things to look out for. But first to my review and why I like this product so much. There is noticable improvement in wind noise. The tire noise on the rough road surfaces tends to be much louder without seals. But these door seals have a much bigger advantage to me. My Model 3 has two doors that felt clunkier than the other two. Not that Tesla’s are known for their high build quality and smooth doors. But these two doors were even worse. The seals have completely eliminated both the clunky feel and most notably the clattery sounds when shutting them. All the doors feel much more solid now! The car finally feels like a more premium vehicle. Now to the installation… This product doesn’t come with a lot of detailed instructions, but it is mostly self explanatory. Make sure you clean all surfaces properly! I also checked that each seal was long enough. All of them had excess material or were the correct length. Each seal is labeled for the intended location. I would suggest starting with the frunk. It’s the simplest one and helps getting used to applying it. I peeled small sections about 3-5 inches at a time. The A-pillar seal is the trickiest of all of them. It’s the most confined space, which makes it a bit harder. I would do this one last. The front door seal has a thin section, which goes on the vertical edge of the door. The thicker section goes on the horizontal bottom edge of the door. The corner of the seal should be almost perfectly flush with the corner of the door. Find the correct placement and apply the corner first, then move outwards from there. Most importantly on both front and rear door, make sure not to cover the drain holes at the bottom of the door. B-pillar is another easy one to apply. Just make sure to place the rounded closed section of the seal at the top. I located it pretty flush with the existing rubber end cap (little rubber piece on top section of the b-pillar location). This keeps that flimsy little end cap in place as well. Rear door seal also has a rounded end cap section for the top and an open end which can be trimmed, this should be the bottom. Again, make sure not to cover the door’s drain holes. The trunk has a lot of twists and turns but is actually pretty easy and straight forward. I started applying the A-pillar seal at the top. Making it as straight and flush with the leading edge of the door. Then I fed all the material through and slowly worked my way down. Please check out the pictures for correct placement.

Really Great 3M Adhesion: Easy sticking, great quality Easy to Install: Whole car was done in under 30 mins Noise Cancellation: Some people are debating if this really provide noise cancellation. In my opinion, it does. I used a sound meter application on the phone, Drove a road BEFORE and AFTER the installation. Worked great, The cabin felt silent and most sharp sound was dampened. Most importantly the inside door area is now ALWAYS clean due to rubber preventing dirt and dust from coming in. No Door vibrations and minor rattling sounds from the door at speeds above 70 MPH. Highly recommended product.

I installed these on my Tesla Model 3 2020. It has more road noise than expected but is considered “normal” by Tesla. Pay CLOSE attention to the instruction extremely basic manual.. while very basic, it does guide you where to put the self adhesive rubber stripping. I accidentally put one in the wrong place but there was enough left over stripping to save me. Also, use the included adhesion pads they help After installation, i went for a test drive and the noise reduction is noticeable. I also think these will help seal out dust and leaves etc… and will do an update on that soon.

Perfect amount of length

Really like how well thought out each seal shape/lengths are. No issues with the 3m tape so long as you clean and prep surfaces properly. It helps to apply this on a warmer day and leave it in the sun to allow the adhesive to warm and seal onto the paint. Be sure to use the adhesive promoter after cleaning the surface. It does make a difference compared to applying without. There's a good foot or more extra length to each seal, so don't need to worry if you don't have enough to cover an edge. I think the hardest seal to install was the front doors/fenders area, that one took a few tries to have the seal line up right. There is a noticeable difference in sound compared to before. Now the doors close with a more solid thunk and I don't hear wind/outside noise as much on the highway when going over 60mph.

The difference really stands out,! Tesla is a quite car by default since it has no combustion engine but the noise cancellation sucks on long rides and during city trafic. But this kit reduced not only the noice but the headaches I had driving in and out of town 😅 30m to install and that’s it. Also no leaking after heavy rains, I had this trouble before. I've been driving a Tesla for a while now, and initially road noise and dust accumulation were some key areas of concern for me. That's why I decided to install the ProGuard. I've been using it for over two months now, and I have to say it's a game-changer. The quieter drives have fundamentally enhanced my overall driving experience. Best for protection. But the size doesn't fit slightly. It's perfect to put rubber packing. There's a two-sided sticker inside. I don't think you can have a sticker. When you get in and out of the car, it will prevent all the pollution. You don't have to lift the back seat. If you slightly push it up and put it on the picture It's just stuck. The interior feels a little upgraded.
