How Teslahubs Consumer Reviews Are Scored

Last updated · 2026-06-27

Scores are based on visible buyer feedback, evidence quality, product-specific complaints, fitment clarity, installation clarity, shipping and return signals, and support-resolution information when available.

Data sources

  • Public product reviews submitted by buyers on Teslahubs storefronts.
  • Photo evidence attached to verified purchase reviews.
  • Owner submissions through our contact form.
  • Repeated complaint patterns across multiple reviewers.

What counts as verified evidence

  • Reviews tied to a buyer record on the source storefront.
  • Review photos showing the actual product installed on the buyer's car.
  • Order ID or proof-of-purchase image submitted alongside a review.

How product scores are calculated

Scores aggregate the visible star ratings, weighted by review count and presence of photo evidence. We do not invent or pad numbers. Where the evidence base is too small to be meaningful, we display "Not enough public evidence yet" instead of a score.

Suggested scoring categories

  • Product quality
  • Fitment and compatibility clarity
  • Installation clarity
  • Shipping / fulfillment feedback
  • Returns / support clarity
  • Evidence quality

Complaint severity classification

  • Low — isolated reports, no recurring pattern.
  • Medium — repeated by multiple buyers across time.
  • High — widespread, structural, or safety-related.

Duplicate, spam, and fake submission handling

We deduplicate by reviewer + body hash, drop submissions that look AI-generated or repeat verbatim content, and require a verifiable order ID and proof-of-purchase image for any new owner submission with photos.

Update cadence

Product pages refresh daily from the source review feed. Trust pages and complaint summaries are reviewed when new evidence arrives or once per month, whichever is sooner. Each page shows a visible Last updated date.

How corrections are requested

Send factual issues through the corrections page with evidence. We update or annotate the page and add an entry to the public correction log.
